The countdown begins until BBQ Bootcamp- Cowgirl Edition is underway at The Alisal Guest Ranch & Resort on Sunday, October 10, 2021. If you’re a first-timer to any of The Alisal’s BBQ Bootcamps, you’re in for a treat. Already a seasoned BBQ Bootcamp Pro? This fall’s event is sure to satisfy.
With five female all-star chefs showing off their culinary expertise, guests will walk away with new barbecue tips and tricks from some of the nation’s best chefs. This is the first time BBQ Bootcamp has featured an all-female lineup and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome them to The Alisal (some of them for the first time). Chef Kate Flannery, the expert on beef, will teach you about Santa Maria-style barbecue; a must-have in your grilling repertoire. Another crucial grilling skill will be taught by Chef Michelle Muñoz who will show guests how to properly smoke meat. Just when you thought you have had tried every type of grilled dish there is, everybody’s favorite chocolatier, Valerie Gordon of Valerie Confections, will guide you through grilling desserts. Say what?!
Roast marshmallows with Chef Ellen Bennett, watch a demonstration on grilling pizzas with Chef Elizabeth Falkner and discover one of the best-known secrets on The Alisal Ranch: Chef Anthony Endy with his top-notch grilling skills. With all of these impressive women—and Anthony—cooking up a feast, guests will know why so many visitors to the Ranch have praised the culinary adventure that is BBQ Bootcamp.
