CALIFORNIA RANCH COOKOUTS ARE BACK!
California Ranch Cookouts are back! The Alisal is excited to welcome back a series of seasoned chefs like Brooke Williamson, Bravo’s “Top Chef” Season 14 winner, Chefs Govind Armstrong, David Lentz and Suzanne Goin to name a few! Director of Culinary Operations, Anthony Endy, will cook up a feast with each Guest Chef creating a memorable outdoor dining experience that will leave you full, yet hungry for more!
These dinners take place on the Rodeo Arena and the Oval Lawn, two spacious and unique al fresco dining spaces at the Ranch amidst the beautiful rolling hills and provide stunning wide-open backdrops for these cookout experiences.
The focus will be on barbecued favorites, including savory meats, seafood, delicious roasted veggie dishes, and grilled decadent desserts.
If you already will be staying at The Alisal when these events occur, there will be no extra charge for your attendance. If you don’t yet have an accommodation reserved, this is a great excuse for a getaway. The Cookouts are only open to guests and Signature Members. If you are an Alisal Signature Member, space at the Cookouts can be reserved without an overnight stay at a cost of $95 per person.
“I am thrilled to be working with these amazing chefs to create this series of very special outdoor culinary eXPERIENCES. I know you will love them.”

Guest Chef Ray Garcia
As a native Angeleno, award-winning chef Ray Garcia draws his culinary inspiration from the city’s rich culture, Southern California’s produce, and his classic training. As the chef/owner of Broken Spanish and BS Taqueria (both opened in 2015 and now operating in pop-up formats), he incorporates all of these things cooking bright, bold, and ingredient-driven food that expresses a Mexican-American narrative. For this, he, his team and both restaurants have received national recognition and overwhelming hometown support – in a city that has drawn critical focus and praise on an international level. Most notably, he was recognized by Esquire magazine as Chef of the Year. His restaurants have earned countless accolades and recognition by outlets such as Esquire, USA Today, Robb Report, Food & Wine, Los Angeles Times, and Los Angeles Magazine.
