The Popular “I Love California”
Workshop Returns! April 14 -16, 2021
Nathan Turner, celebrated interior designer, and author of “ I Love California” is coming back to The Alisal. His October 2019 workshop was a huge success, and we are thrilled to welcome him back April 14-16, 2021. Nathan will share his secrets and tips for festive decorating, entertaining and Western hospitality.
This is your chance to learn directly from one of America’s top designers and event planners. He’ll share his tips for the world’s best guacamole and margaritas, guide you through a mouthwatering cooking lesson and show you how to set the perfect table.
In your free time, explore all the Ranch has to offer. Gather a special someone, or a group of friends to come for this fun springtime gathering. You’ll be talking about this event for years.
The workshop includes:
3 p.m. Arrival and check-in at The Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort
5 p.m. Drinks in the Oak Room
6 p.m. Dinner in the Sycamore Room with book signing
7:30 p.m. S’mores and Fireside Cocktails
7a.m.-9:30a.m. Breakfast at your leisure
9:30 a.m. Catch the haywagon to the Old Adobe for a cooking lesson, table décor session and lunch
1 p.m. Return to the Ranch for afternoon free time—spa, pool, tennis, hike, nap or into town for wine tasting, shopping
5:30 Depart for the Lake for margaritas and make-your-own guacamole followed by a
Lakeside BBQ Dinner
8 p.m. More S’mores and Fireside Cocktails back at the Ranch
9 a.m. Private Breakfast Ride to the Alisal Adobe
Noon Check out and departure with a sweet send off for your ride home from Nathan Turner’s, “I Love California”
Studios start at $1250 per night, double occupancy, plus tax & 20% service charge.
Include Breakfast, Lunch on Thursday, Dinner, Beverage plan & 1 private breakfast ride
