We are pleased to announce that the latest fall issue of Santa Barbara Magazine turned a spotlight on the recent unveiling of the new Turner House at The Alisal. The Turner House is a three-bedroom, three-bath cottage, along our main entrance drive that was given a grand makeover by noted interior designer and author Nathan Turner. The home can be reserved as a single unit, or three separate accommodations. We invite you to check out the article and lovely pictorial then make plans to enjoy the suite, or any other of our comfortable cottages. If you’re interested in an extra special experience, meet Nathan Turner in person as he hosts the “I Love California” workshop at The Alisal, October 23-25, 2019.

Service Charges

The Alisal's 20% service charge is intended to eliminate the need for our guests to tip individual employees, as well as cover the cost of a variety of amenities provided to our guests. These include two water canteens and a bottle of Alisal wine at check-in, daily newspapers, complimentary WiFi internet access, fitness center, complimentary shuttles to and from Solvang village center, nightly hors d'oeuvres in the Oak Room bar, complimentary bicycles, wine tasting with Alisal wine partners, scheduled and seasonal entertainment and a variety of children's activities including barnyard and Kid's arts and crafts room.
