California Ranch Cookouts are back! The Alisal is excited to welcome Chef Brooke Williamson, Bravo’s “Top Chef” Season 14 winner, Chef Govind Armstrong, television personality, cookbook author, and restaurateur, Chef David Lentz, owner of the critically acclaimed Hungry Cat restaurant in Los Angeles, and Chef Suzanne Goin, a four-time James Beard Foundation award-winner. Director of Culinary Operations, Anthony Endy, will cook up a feast with each guest chef creating a memorable outdoor dining experience that will leave you full, yet hungry for more! In the grand tradition of the Wild West, the Alisal has for decades treated grilling as a fine art, and with the help of our guest grill masters including Andy Husbands, Burt Bakman, Paula Disbrowe and Valerie Gordon, we are mighty excited to help you take your grilling skills to the next level.

Black & Blue Bread Pudding
Chef Gordon was recently at The Alisal and demonstrated how outdoor Big Green Egg cookers can be used to make mouthwatering baked goods. Her recipe blends plump blackberries and blueberries into a scrumptious jam, then combines freshly made custard with bits of torn brioche bread to create her Black & Blue Bread Pudding.
